We were delighted to see students from 10 schools across Unity Schools Partnership celebrate their GCSE results yesterday.
This group of young people have faced unprecedented challenges as they prepared to sit their first national examinations.
As they made their choices of subject, the pandemic hit the country and they had to cope with a mixture of remote and in-school learning that no one had previously encountered.
This makes their achievements even more impressive.
Our schools celebrated results that exceeded expectations and we are all rightly proud of students’ achievements.
The trust pay tribute to all the school staff involved and we recognise the way they supported and enabled their students to achieve so successfully and be ready for the next stage of their lives as they go on to sixth forms, colleges and apprenticeships.
