Samuel Ward Academy’s Head of Design Technology, Mr Bleach, spent the end of May at the International D&T conference, Hosted by Technology Supplies International in Dubai, where he had been invited to speak and run a workshop on how to stimulate the minds of young designers.

The event takes place each year, with an agenda including keynote speakers, hands-on workshops and stalls – all run by like minded, forward thinking and creative D&T teachers. Mr Bleach contributed to the innovative event with a showcase of his teaching resources, as well as a talk on his JambleD&T Project and how it’s helped him stimulate, support and foster inspiring environments for staff and pupils studying and working in D&T.
