Unity Schools Partnership is delighted to have joined The Kickstart Scheme to offer 65 paid work placements, each for six months and funded by the Government, in our local schools.

It provides a fully funded opportunity for you to get experience of working 25 hours a week in one of the UK’s most exciting multi-academy trusts.

What is the Kickstart Scheme?

The Kickstart Scheme provides funding to create new job placements for 16 to 24 year olds on Universal Credit who are at risk of long term unemployment.

What jobs are available with Unity on the Kickstart Scheme?

Unity is offering 65 exciting placements across 20 locations in our family of secondary, primary and special schools located mainly in Suffolk, and also on the Essex and Cambridgeshire borders as well as Romford in East London.

Who can apply?

Jobs from the Kickstart Scheme will be open to people aged 16-24 years old, who are claiming Universal Credit, and are at risk of long term unemployment.

If you have a Work Coach, they will talk to you about the Kickstart Scheme and whether it’s right for you. Talk to your Work Coach to find out more.

How do I apply?

Applications can only be made through your Work Coach at your local JobCentre.
